3D Breast Ultrasound
Using the Invenia™ ABUS 2.0 system, we deliver volumetric, three-dimensional breast imaging that excels in dense breast tissue.
- What it shows: Subtle lesions, cysts or masses that may be hidden on mammography.
- Procedure length: 15–25 minutes per breast.
- Why choose it: Non-invasive, radiation-free supplemental screening for women with dense tissue or inconclusive mammograms.
- Your experience: You lie face-up as the automated transducer sweeps over each breast; minimal compression ensures comfort.
- Results: High-resolution 3D datasets interpreted by board-certified radiologists; report delivered within 24 hours.
- Insurance & payment: We accept Medicare, PPOs, HMOs and cash; no prior authorization required for HMO plans.
Bone Density (DEXA)
Our Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) scan is the gold standard for measuring bone mineral density at your hip and spine—ideal for osteoporosis screening or monitoring treatment progress.
- What it shows: Precise measurement of bone strength and fracture risk.
- Procedure length: Approximately 10 minutes.
- Why choose it: Low-dose radiation, highly reproducible results, covered by most insurance plans.
- Your experience: You lie fully clothed (no metal) on a padded table while the scanner arm passes overhead.
- Results: T-score and Z-score included in a comprehensive report sent within one business day.
- Insurance & payment: We accept Medicare, PPOs, HMOs and cash; no prior authorization required for HMO plans.
CT Scan
Our multislice Computed Tomography (CT) scanner captures rapid, slice-by-slice X-ray images to help diagnose conditions in the chest, abdomen, head and extremities.
- What it shows: Fractures, internal bleeding, pulmonary embolisms, appendicitis, kidney stones, vascular blockages and more.
- Procedure length: Under 15 minutes, including positioning.
- Why choose it: Ultra-fast image acquisition is ideal in emergencies or when time is critical.
- Your experience: You rest on a narrow table that glides through a donut-shaped gantry while a gentle whirring happens around you. Contrast dye may be used when needed.
- Results: Images reviewed immediately; report faxed or emailed to your physician the same day.
- Insurance & payment: We accept Medicare, PPOs, HMOs and cash; no prior authorization required for HMO plans.
Echocardiogram
Our Echo exams combine 2D, Doppler and color-flow ultrasound to visualize your heart’s structure and function in real time.
- What it shows: Heart chamber size, valve motion, ejection fraction, blood flow patterns and congenital anomalies.
- Procedure length: 30–45 minutes.
- Why choose it: Radiation-free, detailed functional assessment, vital for diagnosing valve disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy and more.
- Your experience: You lie on your left side as the sonographer places the transducer on various chest locations; you may be asked to hold your breath briefly.
- Results: Comprehensive report from our cardiology team delivered within 24 hours.
- Insurance & payment: We accept Medicare, PPOs, HMOs and cash; no prior authorization required for HMO plans.
General Ultrasound
Our experienced sonographers use real-time ultrasound to visualize internal organs, soft-tissue structures and blood flow – no radiation involved.
- What it shows: Abdomen (liver, gallbladder, kidneys), pelvic organs, thyroid, testes, shoulders, pediatric hips and more.
- Procedure length: 20–30 minutes.
- Why choose it: Safe for all ages, portable for home or facility visits, immediate feedback.
- Your experience: A water-based gel is applied and a handheld transducer glides over the skin; you may be asked to hold your breath briefly for clearer images.
- Results: Preliminary findings at the end of your scan; full radiologist interpretation within 24 hours.
- Insurance & payment: We accept Medicare, PPOs, HMOs and cash; no prior authorization required for HMO plans.
MRI
Our high-field Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system uses powerful magnets and radio waves – never radiation – to produce exceptionally detailed images of soft tissues throughout your body.
- What it shows: Brain, spine, joints, abdomen, pelvis and blood vessels.
- Procedure length: 30–45 minutes, depending on the area scanned.
- Why choose it: Superior contrast resolution for diagnosing herniated discs, ligament tears, tumors, stroke, multiple sclerosis and more.
- Your experience: You lie comfortably on a sliding table while the gantry makes gentle “thumping” sounds. Ear protection and two-way intercom ensure you’re relaxed and heard.
- Results: Preliminary findings in under 2 hours; full radiologist report delivered within 24 hours.
- Insurance & payment: We accept Medicare, PPOs, HMOs and cash; no prior authorization required for HMO plans.
Vascular Studies
Our Doppler ultrasound exams assess blood flow and vessel health in arteries and veins – crucial for screening peripheral artery disease, deep vein thrombosis and carotid artery blockages.
- What it shows: Blood velocity, vessel narrowing, clots, aneurysms and valve competence.
- Procedure length: 20–30 minutes.
- Why choose it: Non-invasive, painless, safe for repeat exams and follow-up assessments.
- Your experience: A gel-coated transducer is placed along the course of the vessels; you’ll lie still while gentle pressure is applied.
- Results: Color-flow images and waveforms interpreted by vascular specialists; report available same-day.
- Insurance & payment: We accept Medicare, PPOs, HMOs and cash; no prior authorization required for HMO plans.
X-Ray
Our digital X-ray suite delivers high-resolution images of bones, lungs and soft tissue – perfect for evaluating fractures, chest infections and joint alignment.
- What it shows: Broken bones, pneumonia, scoliosis, foreign objects and more.
- Procedure length: 5–10 minutes.
- Why choose it: Quick, painless and widely available with minimal radiation dose.
- Your experience: You’ll stand or lie against the detector panel while the technologist takes one or more exposures from different angles.
- Results: Instant image preview; final images transmitted to your doctor within hours.
- Insurance & payment: We accept Medicare, PPOs, HMOs and cash; no prior authorization required for HMO plans.
